Psychiatric Consultation and Assessment:

Consultations for elite athletes seeking diagnosis or treatment of suspected mental health conditions. Conditions treated included depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and eating disorders. Additional athlete specific issues include performance anxiety, overtraining syndrome, depression related to acute injury, and transition to retirement.
Medication Management:

Evidenced based, prescription medication to assist in recovery and in conjunction with athlete’s governing bodies including NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL.
Psychotherapy:

Evidence based, therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy offered in a traditional one on one setting.
On Site Visits:

Athlete schedules are rigorous and demanding. On site visits allow seamless care while engaging the athlete in their mental health.
Tele-health Appointments:

Sport professionals can often be disrupted by geography or travel schedule. These interruptions lead to fragmented care and can compromise mental health stability.
Telemedicine allows continued care away from home while minimizing disruptions and enhancing stability.
Organizational Collaboration:

CBH offers comprehensive management services to support team objectives and achieve positive outcomes. Our staff works in collaboration with team personnel, healthcare providers, and internal mental health providers to design a uniquely tailored mental health program.
